The Shires shopping centre in Trowbridge has been awarded the coveted Park Mark award, which recognises safety, security and cleanliness, for the sixth year.
Its car park, which has more than 1,000 spaces, is patrolled regularly and is monitored by CCTV.
Park Mark is the accredited logo of the Safer Parking Scheme, which is given to parking schemes that have met the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the police and the British Parking Association.
The assessments include management and maintenance, making sure there are appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, signage and cleanliness.
All these are known to reduce the opportunity for crime, creating a safer environment for the motorist and their vehicle.
Car parks with the award display the Park Mark tick, so drivers know where to go for safer parking.
The Shires shopping centre manager Sarah Moore said: "We are pleased to have been given the award yet again and we were delighted with the assessor's summary which said this is a well run facility that benefits from a good working relationship with the local neighbourhood policing team'."
