Competition Terms & Conditions ​

Introduction

By participating in the competition advertised as the 'Shires Summer Win WednesdayCompetition', you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. This competition is being run by The Shires, L&C Investments Ltd; also known as the The Shires Shopping Centre

Eligibility to Enter

The competition will run for one week starting on 12pm Wednesday 7th August 2024 and ending on 9am Wednesday 4th September 2024.

The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age. The Shires Shopping Centre employees and associates are excluded from the draw.

Only one entry per customer across the 1 week.

All entrances must comment 3 different emojis to describe summer holidays on The ShiresFacebook and Instagram socials.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you. 

You will have to have resided within the UK for the past 3 years to enter.

The Prize

The winning prizes will be the following (may change/additional prizes)

7th August
2 adults and 2 children for Longleat

14th August
2 adults and 2 children for Wookey cave holes

21st August
2 adults and 2 children for Bristol Zoo
4 activity passes for Adventure Bristol

28th August
£120 voucher for Odeon Cinema

The use of specific brands as prizes by The Shires Shopping Centre does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

The Shires Shopping Centre's decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner Announcement

The competition will be running for 4 weeks – with a new prize each week. We will have four prize winner. The winner will be revealed on social media and contacted on the Wednesday after each prize post (14th, 21st, 28th Aug & 4th Sept)

The winner will be chosen at random by a random online generator and notified via social media message. The Shires Shopping Centre will make two attempts to contact the winners.

If the winner does not respond to the call and email informing them of their win within 14 days of the second attempt of contact, they forfeit their right to the prize, and the Shires Shopping Centre reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Collection of the Prize

The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be available to collect, otherwise, alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.

Data Protection and Publicity

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by The Shires Shopping Centre for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

All entrants may request information on the winning participants by emailing [email protected]

If requested by The Shires Shopping Centre, the winner agrees to release their first name and first letter of surname to any other competition participants.

The winner's first name and first letter of surname will be announced on The Shires ShoppingCentre, Centres website and social media channels.

Limitation of Liability

The Shires Shopping Centre accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

General

The Shires Shopping Centre reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
